The interesting belt can also bring a lot of fun
Mary Sue Koris went to Arlington’s post prom party for what most likely will be her final time last spring.
Actually, she has attended several, but all of those were as a chaperone while her children enjoyed the festivities.
“I will miss it. It was definitely miss it. It was a lot of fun,” she said Saturday as she prepared to help raise funds for this school year’s post prom.
Like several others, Koris was attired in formal wear to participate in the Arlington Post Prom’s Dash for the Sash. The 5K fun run/walk attracted 53 participants.
“This is a fabulous idea,” said Koris, who wore a 1950s formal dresses. “It gets people excited about doing something fun. It puts fun in fundraiser. Post prom is just a great idea.”
Creating a fun and unique event was the idea behind Saturday’s event.
“We were trying to come up with some differ fundraisers this year,” said Debi Krause, one of the event's organizers. “Five Ks seem to be popular, so we decided to do it was a prom theme.”
Arlington Post Prom will work throughout the year to raise $6,000 to $7,000. Other activities include “fifth quarter” bingo nights during the football season.
Post prom is an important part of the school year, Krause said.
“I think when you have a small town and you can provide an alternate activity for the kids on a big school night like that, I think it’s really important,” she said.
That’s a sentiment that was echoed by several of the participants, including Emily Koris, a 2012 Arlington graduate.
“I think it’s really important,” she said. “It gives them somewhere to go after prom and the less they have to pay the more likely they are to go.”
Like her mother, Emily pulled out semi formal dresses for the dash. She used a $4 Goodwill dress that she purchased for a “thrift-store prom” her college held last year.
For Kay Cook, participating was a way to help her granddaughters, Mallory Cook and Erica Pierce, who are both plan to attend prom this year.
“It’s a good time for the kids and I think it’s very important for their last hurrah, especially for the seniors to be together,” said Cook, who donned a homemade “Class of 1967” sash for the event. “It makes it known that there’s a lot of fun to be had that’s good, clean fun.”
Although the whole event is designed to be interesting, have award winners.Ryan Mellema is overall and the winner of the men, Jenny Lamme is the winner of the women. Each received a belt.

Odeya Rush’s desire for red dresses
Odeya Rush has made quite the impact on the red carpet this week, and both times we’ve seen her looking beautiful wearing red formal dresses.
We love red dresses, and Odeya reignites our love for them this week wearing Monique Lhuillier and Georges Hobeika.
First up this week was the 2014 Teen Choice Awards held in LA.
Odeya shunned the crop top trend we saw at the event for something a lot more sophisticated, choosing a piece from the Monique Lhuillier Resort 2015 collection.
Her strapless tea-length vintage formal dresses featured a lace bodice and was finished with a pleated hi-lo skirt in a full shape, very on trend for this season. She carried the ladylike styling through to her champagne-coloured Christian Louboutin heels.
Very glamorous and very gorgeous.
The next evening she joined Taylor Swift on the red carpet in New York for the premiere of her film, The Giver.

Night keep previos charm, she adds further a gorgeous George Hobeika fall 2014 fashion.Scarlet dress swept the floor and decorative doublet provide the touch of a beautiful and elegant.
A sweeping updo, berry lip and cat-eye make-up completed yet another gorgeous look from the actress.
We can’t wait to see more of her on the red carpet. Can you pick a favourite look from the two?

Sophie style in dress is the trendy
"When it comes to my fashion blunders, I have amnesia!": Sophie Choudry, Actress and model
Fashion to me is: A part of who I am, a way to express my personality and something that makes me feel great. I don't believe in being a fashion victim.
My style mantra is: I celebrate being a woman, enjoy fashion and wear clothes that make me feel great, comfortable and confident. Even if a bunch of people tell me I am looking good in a dress, and I'm not convinced, I won't wear it. Style isn't just about what you wear; it's about how you walk, talk and carry yourself.
Style turn-off in men: Extremely tight T-shirts, very low-rise jeans. Also, when they try to show off their branded underwear! 5 essentials of a woman's make your legs look amazing; everyone has an LBD but I would say, have a little red formal dresses that makes you feel sexy; the perfect pair of jeans for your body type; a white blouse and a pair of really funky sunglasses.
My ideal outfit for
A fun party: A short dress in a bright colour and killer heels.
A formal work setting: A pencil skirt with a blouse or a tailored suit.
A hot date: A long formal dresses that shows off my figure without revealing too much skin. My shopping strategy I I always like to buy classic pieces that won't go out of style.
A valuable beauty tip: Make sure you indulge in some form of exercise; it makes a huge difference to your skin.
A style trick for an instant cool quotient: A pair of cool shoes, a great bag or even a funky scarf can transform your outfit in a second.
My brand fixation: Shoes by Louboutin, Jimmy Choo and Zanotti and bags by Bottega Veneta, Alexander McQueen and Chanel. Must-possess shoes for women I The perfect nude, silver, gold and black heels. Your wardrobe is incomplete without these and a pair of comfy ballerinas. My style icons would be I I love J Lo, Blake Lively, Charlize Theron. They look glamorous and stylish.
A perfume: Swear by I Gucci Guilty and Tom Ford.
I love London, Paris and New York. They are incredible, so different.Have lived in London and Paris, I know some cool shopping place.I let them.I have amnesia when fashion mistakes I wrong but I really want a woman to realize how important it is for semi formal dresses. There's nothing like an ugly visible panty line!
